The SMETA audit (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audits) is a widely used audit methodology and report format that is a compilation of best practices in the field of trade ethics auditing. Our products and prints have been approved by the international SGS Institute, which examines the possibility of allowing printed porcelain and ceramics to come into contact with food. The SGS Institute has tested our products for cadmium and lead content. Laboratory tests have shown that all our tested products meet the European Union EC-1935/2004 standards and the very stringent German LFGB standards.
